Born From Passion
In 2001, Aleyda came to the United States and started working in the restaurant industry. She soon met her husband Julio. Their cooking skills flourished as they worked in many of the finer restaurants in Columbus. This passion for cooking and a strong work ethic turned into the dream that today is Ranchero Kitchen.
The first iteration of Ranchero Kitchen was created as a shared space inside an international market. The first version grew to be so popular that they quickly outgrew the space. “We opened our new location in June of 2017, and we are so happy to be able to accommodate the large groups of people who have come from all across the country to try our food.”
About the Food
“Ranchero Kitchen serves authentic Salvadoran cuisine like no place else in Columbus! We’ve seen people travel from up to two hours away to sample the tastes of their homeland, which includes Pupusas, Pan Con Pollo, and a delicious regional variant on Horchata (it’s different from its Mexican cousin, but still very popular).”
“Our restaurant is a great place for groups of friends and family to gather together. Our friendly and attentive staff can easily seat large groups, and our array of televisions makes our tables the perfect spot to take in an afternoon game. Those with dietary preferences can find food choices. We offer vegetarian options, healthy fresh juices, and delightful desserts for sweet tooths.”
Come to Ranchero Kitchen today to try something new, different, and delicious!
